PERMANENT MAKEUP

POWDER EFFECT BROWS

“Powder Effect Brows” is a type of permanent make-up, where through the manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin, I create the desired fullness and design of the eyebrows.

A small tattoo machine is used to insert pigment. This technique differs from Microblading in that we create a misty, powder filled brow similar to the look of makeup, as opposed to simulated hair. The tails of the brow are darker, and fade into a light start to the brow, giving that perfect ombre makeup affect!  The effects will be waterproof, smudge-proof, and completely realistic.

It lasts longer than Microblading, typically around 1,5-2 years on average, depending on the client's skin type, lifestyle and various other factors. Over time, pigment fades leaving the skin and your natural brows behind. Permanent makeup is a 2 step process, usually 6-8 weeks apart. It is important to complete both the initial procedure and touch up.

LIP BLUSHING

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle to give natural-looking results. Permanent makeup is a 2 step process, usually 6-8 weeks apart. It is important to complete both the initial procedure and touch up.

PERMANENT EYELINER

Permanent eyeliner is a  permanent makeup treatment that involves using a specialised tattoo machine to implant pigment on the lash line to replicate the look of eyeliner. Permanent makeup is a 2 step process, usually 6-8 weeks apart. It is important to complete both the initial procedure and touch up.

What pigments do we use for Permanent Makeup?

For Powder Effect Brows and Lip Blushing procedures, we use pigments by the Deseyener brand. These pigments are mineral and organic mixtures, that allow us to achieve natural results.

Below you can find some works that were done with these pigments in different shades.

What to expect during and after
an initial procedure?

An initial procedure for any permanent makeup will take up to 3 hours. It includes the process of creating a shape and after with a needle, we insert pigmentation beneath the upper layers of the skin. Even though all Permanent Makeup procedures are painless, we still use numbing cream for the area that will be tattooed.

Aftercare: During the first three days we recommend applying ointment several times throughout the day and avoiding the sun. For the next 4-14 days brows will start to peel, and color will lighten by 30-50%. Do not rub or pick your eyebrows and let it happen naturally. Continue keeping your brows moist. Avoid swimming, sauna, not bath, jacuzzi, sun tanning, and makeup removers.

Each Permanent Makeup procedure requires a 1-month touch-up after the initial procedure in order to maintain color and shape.
